Northern Teardrop Trailers are now available with a simple solar teardrop trailer option so you can stay as long as you like without the need to fire up the car just to recharge the battery.
For simplicity and maximum solar benefit we prefer a portable solar pkg where unlike a permanently mounted rooftop installation, there is no need to park in the hot sun or move your trailer throughout the day just to achieve the greatest benefit for your solar application. Just park in the shade, unfold the portable suitcase panel with it’s integral charge controller in the sun and plug it into your trailer’s existing 7 pin car/trailer electrical connection. The 16 ft cable allows you to easily relocate the panel throughout the day for greatest exposure to the sun and maximum solar benefit.
